The approach
Observe before you intervene.
Better skin begins with understanding, not assumption. Merve’s approach brings observation, education and restraint into every decision.
Explore the approach
A considered perspective
Skin does not need more noise.
It needs someone willing to look closely, ask the right questions and recognise when less may work better.
Trends can make skincare feel urgent. Merve’s approach slows the process down. Your routine, habits, environment, sensitivities and expectations are considered together before a product or professional treatment is recommended.
The aim is not perfection. It is a clearer relationship with your skin and a plan you can understand, trust and realistically maintain.
The approach
Four decisions.
One clear direction.
Listen
Your concerns, habits and past experiences provide the context. The conversation starts with what you notice, not with a predetermined recommendation.
Read
Skin is observed as a whole: condition, behaviour, tolerance and change over time. What appears on the surface is considered alongside what may be influencing it.
Edit
What supports the skin stays. What creates duplication, irritation or confusion is reconsidered. Any new step must have a clear reason to exist.
Evolve
No plan should remain static while skin changes. Progress is reviewed, the routine is refined and professional care is introduced only when it adds meaningful value.
Looking beyond a skin type
Your skin is not
a label.
“Dry”, “oily” or “sensitive” can describe a moment. They rarely explain the whole picture.
Skin changes with seasons, stress, hormones, travel, treatment history and the way products are combined. A considered plan makes room for those changes rather than forcing the skin into a fixed category.
- 01 What the skin is doing now
- 02 What may be influencing it
- 03 What it can comfortably tolerate
- 04 What matters most to you
Restraint is part of the work
“A good recommendation is not measured by how much it adds, but by how clearly it earns its place.”
Merve Akkaya
The consultation
Clarity, before
complexity.
A consultation is where the approach becomes personal: time to understand what is happening, what you are already doing and what genuinely deserves attention next.
A clear reading of your current routine and skin priorities
An explanation of what to keep, reconsider, pause or introduce
A realistic plan shaped around your skin and everyday life
